Center for Women & Democracy’s Leadership Institute Class of 2016

Applications Available for the Center for Women & Democracy’s Leadership Institute Class of 2016

The Center for Women and Democracy is excited to announce we are accepting applications for our acclaimed Leadership Institute. Since 2010, the Center for Women & Democracy has been training the next generation of women leaders in Western Washington.

The CWD program was designed to be an impactful experience attracting emerging community leaders.  The intensive, residential program will be held June 21-25 on the campus of Seattle University. The trainers are women leaders from a variety of disciplines and the curriculum explores topics such as community involvement, leadership development, and self-improvement. They will meet with local and state elected officials and business leaders.

Participation in the program is open to women who are currently attending two-year or four-year institutions (undergraduate or graduate) in Washington, those who are enrolled out-of-state with residency or internships in Washington, and women who have recently graduated from college and are living in Washington State.

Please visit us at www.womenanddemocracy.com for an application. Applications are considered on a rolling basis. Final deadline is May 15.
